Girls Night Out

Fourth Friday of every month- 6:00 until Midnight. Join us at closing time for a night filled with fun, food and of course sewing. Bring your sewing project and sew with us. Bring snacks if you like and we will all chip in and order food and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Clothing Construction

Ongoing sessions: $10
Instructor: Liz Odle

If you have always wanted to learn how to make clothing of any kind, then this is the class for you! Come supplied with a pattern and fabric of your choice and learn how to transform it into an article of clothing. You will love wearing this article of clothing and bragging about how you made it, yet it looks like
something you could purchase in a store. Learn how sewing clothing can be fun and not stressful. This will be an ongoing session so once you finish one project you can start another.

Come into the store on Fridays, from 1:00 – 2:30. You may ask Norman anything about your sewing machine. Like how to make buttonholes, how to adjust bobbin tension, ect. If he doesn’t know the answer, he’ll make it up.

Do you have unfinished objects (projects) lying around your house? Join us every Monday for Un Finished Objects (projects) Day. We know that one thing sewers love is the comradery of other sewers. Bring your sewing machines and your unfinished project. Enjoy the company of others and have help from the staff if you need. Snacks will be provided.

For you working ladies who can’t come for UFO, we will have= a Friday night, ASK OUR STAFF. So come in bring your projects, and software questions, we will help. This is a once a month no charge class. The second Friday of each month.

Machine Quilting

You have all tried LOW FAT eating, come try LOW FAT QUILTING. If you have a quilt top finished, and just don’t know what to do with it, this is the class for you. We will add the backing and batting and show you how to MACHINE QUILT on your home sewing machine. .

Machine Embroidery 101

This class is a new monthly edition. Learn basic embroidery techniques by embellishing ready made items. Learn precise positioning, proper stabilization for your product, and how to get the most out of your embroidery machine. Each month we will pick a new project, so check the store for details.

Valentine Table Runner

Make Friends with Your Sewing Machine

Class Fee: $10 (no charge for those who purchased machine from CSC)

Do you have a love-hate relationship with your sewing machine? Are you just getting to know your new machine? Do you wonder why you have problems every time you sew? Then this is the class for you. You will learn how your machine operates, how to choose the proper needle and thread for your projects, and how to care for your machine. Please bring your sewing machine, foot pedal/cord, and instruction manual.

We will schedule this class with 4 students call and put your name on our list.
